US files criminal charges against a Chinese company for alleged theft of trade secrets

I am announcing that a
grand jury in San Francisco has returned an indictment
alleging economic espionage on the part of a
Chinese state owned, government-owned company, a
Taiwan company and three Taiwan individuals for
an alleged scheme to steal trade secrets
from Micron, an Idaho-based semiconductor company. We are here today to
say enough is enough. We are not going to
take it any more. It’s unacceptable. It’s time for China to join the
community of lawful nations. International trade has
been good for China, but cheating must stop. And we must have more law
enforcement co-operation with them.

  1. glad Trump is finally standing up to chinese IP theft! obamar was too scared to.

  2. Trial by court is better than trial by media and mob. A good start

  3. shame on the US waging economic warfare on the entire world,

  4. He is jumping all over on this. But, Micron was countersued for the patent infringement by the Chinese company and lost the lawsuit already. Some of Micron's products are un the injunction for violating the patent law in China. Isn't that "enough is enough!" ????????

  5. US must be serious about the sanction on Jinhua. This sanction must be NON-negotiable, will not repeat the ZTE case in which Trump and Xi renegotiated and relaxed the sanction.
