My name is Parabjot Gill, and I was in Addictions and Community Service Worker. Before I came to CDI, I was a manager at a restaurant, working over eight hours sometimes, and not getting a proper pay for it. They (CDI College) gave me the skills and knowledge, and it really set me out for the future. Our instructors were great. The one instructor that I really really absolutely loved working with was Kelly. She was one of the greatest instructors that I’ve had throughout like my history of schooling. My practicum – it was amazing. I mean the training that I got during school was exactly what I needed for this job, and I was a perfect fit. That’s what everybody tells me there, so I absolutely loved it. CDI change my life in helping me find what I wanted to do. I definitely know that I wanted to work in the community, and it’s definitely something that I did want to o – helping people, and it’s exactly what it (CDI) gave me.
