DIY crafts. And the final video, the fifth video in the series is the whole entire bedroom tour. So it’s going to be my bedding. It’s so cute. You guys are gonna love it. And with all of those things put together. I’m gonna show you my whole entire room. So now let’s just get
on to the closet tour. – [Marissa Voiceover] Okay, but first, here’s an idea of what
it looked like before. I mean it wasn’t too bad. Like there wasn’t clothes everywhere but it still didn’t look neat like this. And just put together. It was really really dark brown kind of like this wood
and we decided to paint it white to bring some
light into this closet. ‘Cause it was just ugly brown. And so we painted it and it looks so much better now. – Okay, and now for the closet tour, ah. So this is my closet, it’s pretty much the most organized it’s been ever in my life. But I did a pretty good job on it. So here I have my shirts and the first hack that I have is to color coordinate your shirts. I like the rainbow so I went red orange, green, blue, purple. White then black then grayish. And so it kind of just looks way nicer. And in my second hack, is to have all of the same color of hangers. It just makes it look neat and tidy. Before I had these like teal blue color with the white and
it just kind of looked messy. And not good. And you can kind of see my favorite colors here. I love to wear white and
black and white stripes and grays and blacks. I like kind of a neutral
color I don’t love bright, bright colors. I have a few pops of color in my wardrobe so it’s good now and then to mix up your style. And then above my shirts I have all of my jackets. I didn’t really color coordinate these ’cause I know I don’t
have one of the same color but this is my jackets. Okay now one of the favorite parts about my closet are my bins and another hack is to organize all your stuff in bins. Don’t leave clothing hanging out and fold it in like little cubbies ’cause it just looks sloppy. I have all my stuff in
bins to keep it organized and in the the bottom one I have some of pants
that I don’t really love. They’re not my favorite
pants but I still wear them. And then in my second one I have athletic gear, athletic shorts, some leggings. And in this one I have my soccer stuff. So I have just the every
day uniforms and socks. And then in here I just
like to keep my purse with my money in it too
cause it’s just accessible. Okay and then the one above that has all of my pajamas. So my joggers and then some of my other top. And then the one above this has my swimming suits and kind of my summer stuff. My goggles. It’s fall right now so
I have em put up high. I don’t really need them accessible. And then moving over to the is hanger. So we found this hangers at Bed, Bath and Beyond. And my favorite thing about these hooks, about this hanger is that it has hooks. And I found that keeping your pants on here can help em stay
straight with no fold. And I don’t love it when
pants are folded in cubbies. So I just hung ’em up. And I just have two of these. These are my favorite pants
that I wear all the time. Okay, so the next hanger
is the same hanger. The hooks are great for storing tank tops, belts, you can scarves or just whatever you want. It’s a great organization hack. Alright and then right here I have all of my dresses and
kind of fancier clothes This is my favorite dress. It even has pockets. I love I os much. It’s comfy and I wear it with sandals and it’s just super cute and comfy. That’s my style. And then back here, I have a big coat that I have for soccer. And it just like keeps me really warm. It’s like a sleeping bag
but a coat, you know. Who doesn’t want that? And the I just have a few skirts and other dresses that I don’t wear very often. And then above all of my dresses I have this bin which keeps my yearbooks, my important documents. Kind of my folders and binders. ‘Cause I didn’t really need them in my desk. ‘Cause I didn’t have room so we just put them in a bin and put them in the back of my closet. Because I don’t really
need them right now. Up here I have a couple of extra blankets for when the winter comes and it gets really cold and this one. It has wool right here and it’s so soft, I love it. And then below my dresses I have all of my shoes and okay and then under my bins I have my slippers. And I got these last year for Christmas and they’re from Costco and literally they’re the best slippers ever because they’re slipper boots so they don’t slide off your feet. And when I just have to go get something in the garage and my feet are cold, I just slip these on and I’m so cozy and it’s
been getting cold so. And then over here I have my other shoes and I got this little stand thing for my shoes at Target. It really helped to organize them and make them look nice. So that’s another hack, to get something to hold your shoes in, maybe like a thing on your door. For example, this. It is really cool. And I just have all of my favorite shoes. I have my boots on top. And I have this kind of tennis shoes some vans and then on the bottom I have church shoes and a pair of tennis shoes and chacos so. Guys, what is you number one tip for staying organized? My number one tip is get rid of things you don’t use. Like I had a ton of shirts in a bin and I was like I never wear this. There’s no point in hanging it up because it will just stay there. Get rid of clothes that you don’t use and it will be much easier to stay organized. Okay under my jackets, I have a bin and this
bin is filled with socks. Look at these. They’re called cabin socks. They’re kind of like my blanket that I have up there. And they’re so comfy I love them. So I have my socks and my underwear and all that stuff. And I have my bags in here. Like my sling bag. My church bags are just, like a makeup bag for
traveling to something. And then, over here I have my soccer stuff that I wear often. And this is just my shin guards, my shin guard sleeves and my cleats in here because
I practice pretty much every day, not every day but like five days of the week so. I just keep all this stuff
in here so it’s accessible and just really easy to get to. And behind here I have two bins. This one is just full of old soccer stuff. Old uniforms. from when I was little that
I don’t want to throw away. Because they’re actually kind of cute. And this one is all of my summer shorts that I don’t really need right now because
it’s Fall going into winter. And it’s too cold to wear shorts so those are all my bins for older stuff. So another great hack is to use bins to sort out clothing or
like seasonal clothing like shorts just so you don’t have as much stuff to deal with while you’re getting ready or to look through. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed my closet tour. It was really fun to decorate and paint, not that great, but like hang up stuff and organize it. So comment down below if you guys organize your closets and let me know how it goes because mine took quite awhile. And subscribe down below
